Matt, Exactly. Especially Giovanni Ribisi saying “fuck it.” It was way-way condescending and a put off. I also wonder who this is really targeted towards. It seems to me that it would be most resonant with high school kids and most of them can’t even vote!

I agree with you on this Steve. To me, it almost comes off as condescending towards younger people.

Granted, Jonah Hill always makes things more entertaining but some of the other actors were trying too hard and it ultimately felt a bit lame.

Am I going to vote – yes. Did this make me sway myself to go vote – no.

I think it is actually a wonderful ad. Young adults are very sarcastic. And you leave that ad feeling empowered. You feel as though you do count.

Look at the celebrities in general they all pertain to a class of celebrity that swear, A-list (and sexy) or in movies you probably wouldn’t want to see with your mom you know?

They are doing a great job at getting the point across more as a reverse psychology kind of deal I think.

I thought it was perfect. It was powerful and made my arm hairs raise. LOL
