By now you’ve probably seen this already, but I had to put it up here. I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to this movie. We were at Barnes & Noble over the weekend buying some new books for the little one and I was really tempted to buy the book. We didn’t pick up the book because it’s not quite appropriate for 11 month olds that just want to put things in their mouth, but I hope one day this becomes a favorite. It’s certainly one of mine.
While not normally something I’d listen to, the song in the trailer fits really well and is a beautifully flowing song. In case you want to know more about the song, it’s Wake Up by Arcade Fire.
I swear one day I’ll post something other than youtube videos here but for the time being, it’s better than nothing. I have actually been toying with redesigning this site while i’m at it, possibly using Aaron’s Green Tea theme.
In the meantime, I had to share this video of song of Nicola Conte’s new album Rituals. My copy finally arrived from Japan the other day and it’s simply a magical album. I’m a big fan of Nicola Conte and love the fact that he’s from Bari where much of my family comes from.
Dwele’s tribute to Dilla is short but I really love the beat here. It’s cool to hear all these classic Dilla tunes combined together. He’s been gone over 3 years now and still making an impact. Also one to keep on the lookout for is the upcoming release Jay Stay Paid.
